Treatment Planning

Implant Placement
The titanium implant is placed into the jawbone under local anaesthetic in a single surgical appointment. The area is sutured and left to heal. The implant gradually fuses with the bone in a process called osseointegration — typically over 3 to 6 months.
Healing & Osseointegration
During the healing period, the titanium implant fuses permanently with the surrounding jawbone — a biological process that creates the foundation that makes implants so stable. We monitor healing at review appointments during this phase.
Crown Fitting
Once the implant has fully integrated, we fit the abutment and take impressions for your custom crown. The crown is colour-matched to your natural teeth and fitted onto the implant — permanently. This is the part nobody will be able to distinguish from a real tooth.

How It Works
